- Joined Government service in 1981 and worked for 8 years at Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Chennai.
- Completed Fellowship training at the Institute of Reproductive Medicine, Kolkata, under Prof. B. N. Chakraborthy, FRCS, on ART.
- Worked for 5 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and received the Best Doctor Award at K.S.A.
- Retired as HOD of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Tirunelveli Medical College. Received the Collector Award in 2011 – Best Doctor.
